I am married to a remarkable woman.  We have 5 children and are raising 2 grand children.  I am a software engineer, but not a “techie”.  We currently live in Iowa, close to where my wife and I were both born.  We have lived in Arizona, South Carolina and Virginia before coming back 3 years ago.  We miss the mountains.  My wife is part Cherokee, but was never exposed to the culture while growing up.  When we lived in South Carolina she bacame friends with another women with Cherokee heritage and we all wound up taking classes in Native American Spirituality.  It was quite amazing.  It was when we became aware of the journey.
